Next week, I’ll have the honor of hosting my second social media roundtable at Syracuse University, an annual influencer event now in its fourth year. The panel is for students; graduating PR and Communications seniors who have grown up in a social media world and now embarking on their careers. This year’s panel will focus on the practical do’s and don’ts for those entering the workforce, but also take a look at emerging trends like content, credibility and crisis, aka social media firestorms. There’s something about Syracuse students that always blows me away – their tenacity, hunger for real-life information and hands-on experience – and I couldn't be more excited to meet them again this year. I hope they’ll learn from me as much as I’ll learn from them.
