The Seventh Annual National Health IT Week kicks off today, through September 14. National Health IT Week is a virtual event that has slowly gained notoriety over the past few years. The event was even recognized by President Obama last year when he issued an official Proclamation of National Health IT Week. The goal of the event is for the health IT community to come together in an effort to raise national awareness on the value of health IT for the U.S. healthcare system.
