One of the many benefits of working in agency life and being a young PR professional is that we’re constantly presented with opportunities to learn – from our older, more veteran colleagues and from those industry events that we get to participate in as a part of PAN.
Today, a group of us PR newbies gathered around to listen to Peter Shankman, founder of HARO (Help A Reporter Out), host a conference call on “How to Pitch a HARO Reporter.” On the call, reporters from major national publications shared their industry insights, pet peeves and tips to help us get the most out of our HARO pitches. On the call were:
