Measuring Your LinkedIn Company Page Just Got Easier

A few weeks ago I noted a key difference between LinkedIn Analytics for company pages and those offered by Facebook and Twitter – you can’t export the data. So, when it’s time to create a measurement report, I find myself scribbling on scrap paper with basic math skills to set proper benchmarks for my clients’ programs.

If I had to pick a social channel that keeps us marketers on our toes the most, I’d choose LinkedIn. And that’s a good thing. LinkedIn set off a tidal wave of opportunity for businesses years ago and the surge hasn’t slowed. Beyond being an amazing platform for individuals to make valuable connections and position themselves as thought leaders, LinkedIn is a place for businesses to set up shop and deliver targeted content that resonates with their relevant audience, in a lot of really unique ways.

Drop Everything. LinkedIn Showcase Pages Should Be A Top Priority

Late last week, LinkedIn started sending emails to companies saying the products/services tab on company pages will be going away. Traditionally, this has been a catch all for products/services narrative typically pulled straight from websites. According to LinkedIn, this section was not very useful or popular so they are replacing it with their new LinkedIn Showcase Pages.
