According to blog tech provider WordPress and Blogging.org, as of 2012 there were more than 42 million blogs in the world, 31 million here in the United States alone. More than 60 percent of all businesses have a blog. And more than 500,000 posts a day are seen by 25 billion viewers each month.

Blogger Relations: Stepping Into a Blogger’s Shoes

As a PR professional by day and blogger by night, my perception of what us PR pros call “blogger relations” has evolved a lot over the past few years.
Five days a week, roughly between the hours of 9 and 5, I attempt to uncover that magic formula that will help me master the art of “blogger relations” in a way that will successfully build relationships and also secure coverage for my clients.
