Publicity Club of New England Kicks Off its 2011-2012 year at PAN

Posted by Katelyn Campbell on Sep 16, 2011 7:28:49 AM

After a few months in our new office, PAN has been very excited to show our new home to our industry colleagues. We were very lucky to host last night's Publicity Club of New England's first event for its 2011-2012 season--an industry networking night. A night on the roofdeck and having delicious food and drinks while talking to your industry peers was a great way to kickoff the PubClub's upcoming year.

PAN Counts Down to Boston: 5 Things We’re Excited About

Posted by Katelyn Campbell on Feb 28, 2011 1:43:44 PM

As mentioned in our post last month, our excitement for the big move to our brand new Boston headquarters continues to grow each day! We are now officially 5 months away from our big move into the city. There is still a lot of work to be done, yet the anticipation for the new PAN office continues.

What are we smiling about? We asked the PAN staff the top 5 things they are excited about with regards to our move…

Our view!

Our new office has amazing views of the Boston skyline on one side and the Boston Harbor on the other. With windows everywhere you look, our PAN staff is excited for ocean views, skyline shots, sunlight, sunsets, and watching the harbor below. We’ll have even more amazing views from the roof deck!

Location, Location, Location!

PAN’s new office will be at the heart of the city. At 255 State Street, we are in a thriving location. With Faneuil Hall, the North End and the Financial District all around us, we feel right in the middle of it all. With all our contacts in the city, they’ll be close and meetings will be easier.

Lunches now have a long list of places to visit and try—even picnicking in Christopher Columbus park or the Greenway! Shopping at some of the best spots will be only steps away! Networking events will be a breeze to attend with no more Boston traffic into the city. We can easily partake in seeing a game at the Garden or jumping on the T to catch our beloved Red Sox.

New Commutes

For some of us, our move to Boston will have us exploring new ways to get to work. As most of us drive today, some will be commuting in via the commuter rail, MBTA or even walking to work when we move. Not driving gives us more opportunities to get a start on the day earlier- whether its checking your BlackBerry on the T, reading the latest news on your iPad or listening to a podcast, most of us will have a head start to our day.

Food, Drinks and more!

We’ll be in walking distances for some of the greatest places to have a drink or bite to eat in our hometown. Whether it be Mike’s Pastry or a favorite Italian eatery in the North End or our neighbors Legal Sea Foods, Sel de la Terre and Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream, we won’t be at a loss for new things to try. Our outings with our co-workers will have a whole new experience. It will be great to be in Boston during the peak times—like trying a Guinness and listening to traditional Irish music after work at the Black Rose (Saint Paddy’s Day 2012!) or hopefully seeing a victory parade from one of our sports teams.

All new!

With a new office comes news things! As Noah mentioned in his blog post “Sitting Pretty,” the staff spent the last week testing out new chairs. We are all awaiting the new office layout, new desks, new phones, new laptops, new wireless, and new conference rooms. Did I mention everything is new?! It’s going to be a modern and fun space—a perfect reflection of Boston.

Stay tuned to prSPEAK for updates on PAN's move to Boston!

PAN Announces Move to Downtown Boston; Executive Promotions

Posted by Phil Nardone on Oct 28, 2010 12:02:54 PM

We had some big news come out of PAN today. The first thing we announced was that we will be moving to downtown Boston in June 2011. As PAN continues to evolve, the need to be in a more centralized location became apparent and we decided that now – in our 15th year in business -- is the perfect time to make that decision. We are truly excited about the move to our beautiful new building (which btw, is right on the water!) and we look forward to starting a new chapter.

The second announcement was that our heads of technology, consumer, professional services, HR and Finance, have all been promoted to vice presidents. This title is a first for PAN! Our senior leaders make PAN a fantastic place to work and they take on challenges like no one else, producing amazing results. They are true representatives of PAN in every way and they have done an amazing job mentoring and training our employees to become the fine PR pros they are today! Congratulations to our newly appointed vice presidents on their well deserved promotions.
